Assistant Store Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our business based in Christchurch.

The successful applicant will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible to work in rostered shifts, including late evening hours. This is a Permanent, Full-Time role with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week of work. We offer a salary between $35- $40 an hour based on experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Providing Excellent customer service
- Completing all daily store operations.
- Dealing with customer queries and issues.
- Cash management and till management.
- Shop presentation/displays.
- Stock management/preparation and control as instructed.
- Maintain Daily Stock-take Procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the store.
- Assist the Manager with the daily operational tasks.
- Ensure the store sales and inventories all correctly accounted for.

In order to be considered for this role you:

- Must have NZ work experience in similar or higher role and industry.
- Must available to work in a rostered shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Willingness to work in early morning, afternoon, and late evening shifts.
- Have great communication skills.
- Reliable and enthusiastic.
- Attention to detail
- An eye for detail.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Overtime
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
