An exciting opportunity now exists to join one of New Zealands most well respected and trusted companies as their Facility and Health & Safety Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to look after all Toyota New Zealand facilities, minimising interruptions to enable the continuance of business operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This includes managing security, fire protection, maintenance, building projects and renovations.

We are looking for someone that has a real passion property and building management and for ensuring that our premises are maintained to a high standard. This role offers loads of variety and you will need to be the type of person that embraces the idea that no two days are ever the same You will be quick to respond to challenges that arise and will thrive in an environment that is fast paced and focuses on continuous improvement.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Management of Toyota New Zealand facilities, fitouts, maintenance and security
- Management of all building/facility related contractors and those relationships
- Managing space and furniture within Toyota New Zealand facilities, including planning and establishing new/temporary floor plans for office extensions and new fitouts
- Financial forecasting and monitoring budgets for building work, new fitouts and renovations
- Responsibility for running the Health and Safety committee
- Having strategic input into Health and Safety Policy and objectives
- Managing and actively participating in all environment and hazard audits

**We pride ourselves on our people so to be successful in the role you will need**:

- Prior experience managing facilities and building projects
- Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and previous experience managing Health and Safety within a facility
- To be a team player and a self-starter who is results focused with a focus on continuous improvement
- Exceptional time management skills
