**Job Summary**

As a Senior Checkout Supervisor, you will play a key role in managing the checkout area, supervising staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of store presentation, driving sales growth, and controlling costs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and motivate a team of checkout operators to achieve excellent customer service
- Manage the checkout area to ensure efficient and effective operation
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, including the checkout area and surrounding shelves
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members
- Participate in rostering and staffing decisions
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a retail environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and develop team members
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25kg
