New World Te Kuiti is looking for a fun, cheerful, reliable, & hard-working person to join our Service Deli / Seafood team.

As a Service Deli / Seafood Assistant manager, you'll a key leader helping drive our committed and motivated team who prides themselves on the quality products and service we offer.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Using SAP to purchase goods for both Service Deli and Seafood (Full training provided)
- Leading a great group of staff within the Service Deli and Seafood department's
- Ensuring the highest standards for the store's Service Deli / Seafood operations.
- Setting up the Deli & seafood ensuring a visually appealing and inviting presentation.
- Serving customers in the Deli & seafood, providing personalized and attentive service.
- Assisting with all duties in the Deli & seafood, including tasks related to customer service, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Working unsupervised, demonstrating independence and responsibility in your role.
- Maintain Health & Safety and Food Safety standards at all times.

**What we are looking for**:

- previous management or leadership experience within the food industry
- Ability to learn computer systems. (for ordering and receipting goods)
- Experience and working knowledge of food preparation.
- Physical fitness with the ability to handle heavy lifting.
- Customer service driven - you will spend a lot of time helping our customers.
- Excellent communication skills and be a team player.
- Reliability with a positive attitude, confidence, and maturity.
- A strong work ethic, capable of performing well under pressure.
- Adaptability to meet the seasonal demands of a busy retail team.

**The Hours / Days: total 38.5 hours per-week.**

Monday - 6am - 2pm, Tuesday - 8am - 3pm, Wednesday - 8am - 5pm, Thursday - 8am - 5pm, Sunday - 5am - 1pm
