NURSE EDUCATOR - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT HAWKE'S BAY

Permanent, Full-time
80 hours per fortnight (1.0FTE)

Te Whatu Ora Hawke's Bay are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Nurse Educator to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. The beautiful Hawke's Bay is a great place to live and provides the opportunity for the perfect work life balance.

As a Nurse Educator you will be responsible for the professional development of the nursing and care associate team. To build on our nurse's existing knowledge and provide opportunities for advancement of clinical skills in emergency nursing. You will work with the Clinical Nurse Manager and the emergency team to develop a positive work environment that supports and increases the nursing workforce capacity, capability, retention, and resilience within the emergency department.

**About the Role**:
Our Emergency Department (ED) sees over 55,000 patients each year. The ED is staffed by a vibrant and dedicated multidisciplinary team who work together provide emergency care to people from across the entire Hawke's Bay region 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.

**About You**:
Leadership experience
Relevant postgraduate diploma with evidence of ongoing study towards a master's degree.
TNCC, Triage Course, ENPC or equivalent.
Current CORE Advanced certification
Minimum of five years relevant clinical experience
Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
The ability to work collaboratively and innovatively within a growing multidisciplinary team
This role is suited to someone who is enthusiastic about service improvement and working in new ways to deliver optimal outcomes for the emergency department team.
