Agile Coach

More agile than the rest?
More than ever, what we do is about how we choose to do it - where we work, when we work and the ways we make it our own. Here’s your chance to join a dynamic, creatively-driven team with a culture that’s second-to-none.
Datacom’s cross-functional Transformational Engagement team is home to a diverse range of perspectives and expertise across the fields of agile, strategy, solution, experience design, change, architecture and emerging technology. We’re a people-first bunch - our solutions are led by insight, empathy, creativity and inclusivity, and we pride ourselves on a culture that makes anything feel possible.
We do all this under the umbrella of Datacom
Datacom is proudly NZ-owned, connecting people with technology to solve challenges, create opportunities and help shape the future for our local communities. We’re local at heart, yet world-class in capability: with over 6,200 people worldwide, we generate an annual revenue of over $1.2 billion, making us one of Australasia’s largest professional IT services companies.
We’re looking for an Agile Coach extraordinaire
As our new Agile Coach you’ll promote and cultivate agile principles and understanding across Datacom and our customers organisations. You’ll do this by coaching and teaching individuals, teams and business leaders in effective agile thinking and practices, identifying the right techniques across the range of agile methodologies - all with a relentless focus on continuous improvement.
You’ll also share your knowledge and provide thought leadership, actively taking part in communities of practise and sharing your knowledge and learnings of effective approaches to agile delivery at team-level and at scale.
You'll be commercially astute and experienced in establishing an environment where one or more Agile teams can effectively deliver value to our business and those of our customers, on-time and as required. You’ll collaborate with our product owners, designers, developers and customers to keep everything moving, and you’ll help to meet the information needs of our senior management, with effective reporting and capture of performance metrics.
The nuts and bolts
**We’ll need you to bring**:
- A growth mindset and desire for continuous learning
- Strong critical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of project management methodologies - especially agile, software and tools
- Experience in an agile environment at scale
- Experience in team leadership, motivation, mentoring, delegation and conflict management
- Experience in technology and solution delivery, including the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, as well as facilitation and presentation skills
**Why you'll want to join us**:
At Datacom, we believe that doing good is good for business. We’ve maintained our local family feel while expanding globally across Australia, Asia, the US and the UK. Our brand and reputation depend on ‘proving the promise’ and we aspire to be a trusted advisor for our customers across Government and the private sector, from enterprise scale to regional businesses.
When you join us, you’ll get a competitive salary package, fantastic perks and benefits like healthcare, life insurance, discounts at local retailers and a supportive, flexible working environment that’s welcoming and ego-free. If you want to join a company making a difference - both for our customers and our employees - we’d love to have you at Datacom.
