*ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Scrum Master to join our JADE internal product team Christchurch. You will have the opportunity to lead transformation projects as an Agile Coach. You will be working in a dynamic team environment. You’ll have the opportunity to empower and coach a cross-functional team and influence strong agile practices throughout the organisation.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

- Leading transformation projects of an existing, well known product.
- Establishing working practices and creating a highly productive team culture
- Engaging with a range of internal stakeholders and external customers
- Leading the process of planning and executing solution delivery
- Coaching the team to harness an agile mindset and the underlying practices
- Championing the process of continuous learning and improvement
- Facilitating workshops, decision making, progress tracking, and conflict resolution
- Participating in our agile community to socialise ideas and develop best practices

*ABOUT YOU
*
- A talented Scrum Master; with a background in Agile Coaching and Project Management
- Experience working closely with product teams and in modernising legacy projects would be highly beneficial
- Several years of experience in a commercial software development setting, that has given you a broad understanding of how the relevant roles, processes, technologies, and tools are applied to create solutions.
- An agile mindset combined with an understanding of the day-to-day practices that enable cross-functional teams to engage with customers, self-organise, and continuously improve.
- Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills that enable you to lead and facilitate interactions with team members and customers, to drive positive outcomes.
- The ability to work under broad direction, combined with a passion for continued learning and knowledge sharing with your team and peer group.
- A tertiary or vocational qualification that is relevant to software development (beneficial).
