Our Client is New Zealand's largest and most iconic alcohol beverage company who market, sell and distribute many of the country's favourite drinks including beer, cider, wine, spirits, ready-to-drink products and a range of non-alcohol beverages. Due to the continuous growth within the business, we are currently looking for Production Operators to join their team based in East Tamaki. **About the role;**

You will have the opportunity to join a high performing and supportive team responsible for a variety of machines and equipment. Mon - Tues : Night Shift 10pm - 6am

**Responsibilities included;**

**Safety**
- Ensure safe work practices for yourself and others, wearing of appropriate PPE, identifying safety issues (though raising near misses), action close outs & support training of team members.
- Ensure all 5S standards are maintained and signed off
- Develop and implement your own and your team's wellbeing goal.
- Think Safe Act Safe Be Safe.

**Quality**
- Complete standard and quality checks and process
- Ensure systemic (5 Whys) problem solving applied to opportunities
- Resolve issues at Machine or T1 and escalate as required.
- Support Red complaints investigations

- _Embed the company's SAP system & new processes, ensuring data quality outcomes and new reporting platforms are leveraged_

**This role requires the following;**
- Knowledge of FMCG Machines and process improvement techniques (Beneficial)
- Mechanical aptitude to run highly automated, fast and complex machinery (Beneficial)
- Qualifications in a Technical, Trade or related discipline will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of safe work practices / hazard prevention
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be physically fit to perform manual handling tasks
- Flexibility and ability to learn quickly
- Must have the ability to problem solve and display good decision-making skills

**Role Expectations**
- Escalate any safety concerns directly to Team Leader
- Escalate and report any issues or concerns with Hoist to Team Leader
- Escalate accordingly - Safety Incidents and/or hazards, Machine Break Downs, Environmental concerns
- Punctual during break times
- Completion of standard work tasks before end of shift
- No phones or headphones
