**The Role**:
Universal Packaging specialises in stretch wrap and pallet wrapping solutions. Servicing all of NZ, they sell and maintain machinery within their large (and growing) customer base. This role is focused on ensuring the servicing needs of customers are met each day, with a 'can do' attitude. Based mainly on the phone, in the Palmerston North office, you will ensure the smooth running of machinery installation, general servicing and breakdowns, while liaising with service technicians, and your internal team, to get the job done. This is a Monday-Friday role, working 40 hours per week.

**Some of your responsibilities**:

- Coordination between service technicians (nationwide) and customers, to ensure on site customer needs can be achieved
- Contacting customers to schedule regular servicing maintenance
- Ordering and monitoring progress on parts for both jobs and stock - escalation as required. Your ability to think outside the square will help to find solutions that fit
- Maintaining database integrity
- Machines, Servicing and Lease
- Creation of relevant quotes, and invoices in a timely manner
- Providing cover to the Customer Service team, as required - this is where your team spirit will shine
- Delivering first class customer service to all customers externally as well as fellow colleagues internally
- Managing all branch Health and Safety requirements

**What we're after -** _You will have a great attitude and a strong work ethic. To be considered, you'll also need to have the following:_
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills - Excel and Outlook
- A strong customer focus and drive to make things happen - Previous experience in Customer Service is advantageous
- Very comfortable on the phone
- Honesty and reliability
- Ability to problem solve and find solutions - you will be supported but your initiative is highly valued here
- Able to work independently but also as part of a team
- Maintain a high standard of Health & Safety
- Some mechanical nous would be advantageous, even at a hobby level
