As a Systems Specialist/Cloud Engineer, you will be an integral part of our clients Cloud Infrastructure team, working to ensure the continuous reliability and high performance of our clients ICT services. You will take charge of resolving intricate technical challenges, serving as an escalation point, and upholding service level expectations. Your leadership will extend to guiding and implementing Cloud-based projects within our expansive global environment, with a strong emphasis on automation and scripting to streamline operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring ICT services maintain reliable operation and meet service level expectations.
- Lead and execute Cloud-based project initiatives within a large global environment.
- Champion the adoption of automation and scripting, utilizing tools such as Powershell, Terraform, or similar technologies.
- Collaborate with Cloud providers, particularly Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, to optimise services.
- Define innovative solutions for intricate problems and contribute to maintaining high availability and reliability.
- Cultivate strong customer-focused relationships and strive for service excellence.
- Collaborate seamlessly within a team-driven environment that values both professionalism and camaraderie.

**Requirements**:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize solutions for complex challenges.
- Cloud experience, with a preference for proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Powershell or similar tools.
- A proactive team player with a passion for delivering exceptional results.
- Familiarity with industry best practices such as ITIL, change management, and risk management.
- Automation using Terraform and Ansible
