**The opportunity**
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Information Security Engineering Lead to join our team at Fidelity Life. This is a permanent role based in our Auckland CBD office with flexible working arrangements.

The Information Security Engineering Lead will drive Fidelity Life’s information security strategy ensuring business objectives are met as well as providing leadership and technical expertise in the development and implementation of information security initiatives. Together with this the Information Security Engineering Lead will ensure that the company's information assets and technologies are protected against potential threats and risks.

Some key day to day tasks will include;
- Development and management of endpoint security management including but not limited to; Implementing and management of endpoint protection solutions to detect and prevent malware, viruses, and other threats as well as strengthen endpoints to ensure that they are secure and protected against attacks.
- Management of the Network security, involving working with stakeholders to securely design, implement and maintain network infrastructure solutions. Developing and maintaining network segmentation strategies and implementing and maintaining DDoS protection measures
- Developing and implementing network security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the protection of the organization's information assets.
- Provide technical reviews on high level or detailed solutions design to the business
- Developing and implementing vulnerability management processes to identify, prioritise, and remediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
- Designing and executing Identity Access Management solutions to manage identities and access to resources, including privilege management and access control
- Teaming up with development teams to integrate secure development practices into the software development lifecycle.

**About You**
With proven leadership experience and experience in managing endpoint protection DDoS mitigation, vulnerability management, and identity and access management programs you’ll bring a track record of building security policies, processes, and standards. You will be a natural collaborator, enjoy building strong stakeholder relationships, and have a history of delivering great customer outcomes. You’ll relish the opportunity to take drive Fidelity Life’s information security measures with a continuous improvement mindset.

Together with this you will bring:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in information security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus
- Experience managing endpoint protection, DDoS mitigation, Vulnerability Management, and Identity and Access Management programs
- Experience with DevSecOps assessments and review of technical designs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Understanding of ISO 27001 standards, CIS benchmarks, CVE
- Proven results in delivering great customer outcomes
- Technical understanding of security tool set and how they can complement with each other
- Ability to identify gaps in the existing setup or process and able to come up with a plan to resolve it
- Ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders including the Technology Leadership Team and security vendors
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team
