Taura by IFF provide customer specific solutions for some of the best recognised consumer brands with world class production facilities in Mount Maunganui, Tauranga and Belgium. **About the Role**: We are currently seeking to appoint a Process Operator, New Zealand at our Taura site in Mount Maunganui. Reporting to the Shift Manager and Shift Supervisor, this role requires you to ensure the effective and efficient quality control tasks to maintain the highest quality standards. The position is a key role which is critical to our operation and holds great responsibility ensuring production quality and food safety standards are maintained. This position is on a rotating shift roster (day shift and night shift), Monday - Friday. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, honest, and adaptable team player who is seeking advancement in their career and add real value to our Mount Maunganui facility. **Job Requirements**: **Key responsibilities will include**: - Raw material verification, and quality control testing - Operating process equipment and ensuring every step of production process from raw materials to finished product follows all manuals - Automated packing machines, along with general packing duties - Managing time effectively in accordance with set schedules meeting all specifications - Abiding by the personal and Company protocol to maintain the high standards of hygiene and prevent cross contamination - Ensuring all activities in the production meet the requirements of the Health and Safety Employment Act including the Company Health and Safety Policies - Identifying safety hazards to eliminate it and being aware of the safety of all facility members - Reporting immediately and accurately every issue related with quality and safety to the Shift Manager or Shift Supervisor **To be successful in this role**: - Previous experience Quality Control, FMCG manufacturing or relevant environment as a Machine/Production Operator or a Line Setter - Experience in the Essential Oils, Cosmetic, Pharmaceutical, Health & Personal Care or Food & Beverage Industry highly desirable - Have a solid understanding of GMP/HACCP in a Food Manufacturing environment - A current Class 1 driver license with forklift endorsement is desirable but not necessary as training will be provided - Ability to work as a team with cooperative attitude and high level of communication skill - Most importantly, we are seeking an outstanding team player who is self-motivated, honest, has a "can do" attitude, and wants to work for a business where they can make a difference **Benefits & Culture** - Fantastic training platform and support provided to boost your career - 'IFF University' and more - Attractive remuneration and benefits including both Southern Cross Healthcare and Income Protection Insurance through AIA - Opportunity to do truly meaningful work in a supportive, constructive culture that encourages you to make the most of your talent. - Commitment to diversity & inclusion, equal opportunity and the environment As part of Taura Natural Ingredients commitment to Health & Safety, the successful applicant will undergo a pre-employment medical and drug screening test.
