**About the role**:
As a Social Media Content Creator, you will create a range of social media content to enhance MEGA's presence and engagement in social channels. Part of a global team, you will report to the Content Lead.

You will make an impact by:

- planning, designing, and executing social media content across a range of social platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Youtube
- brainstorming, uncovering, and developing stories about MEGA's features and products that will boost awareness and engagement among our subscribers
- producing easy-to-understand social media posts that are on-brand, have the appropriate tone of voice, and meet our guidelines
- developing and maintaining our social media calendar that would cover some key dates, such as data privacy day, as well as our product releases
- collaborating across design, product, development, legal, and senior leadership teams to ensure all requirements are satisfied
- contributing to our content strategy, style guide, tone of voice, and design and content meetings.

This role can be remote, and we offer flexible work arrangements for employees based at our Auckland office.

**About you**:
You will live and breathe social media and are an exceptional and savvy storyteller. You bring a passion to the work you do, are able to work at pace, and engage with diverse teams across the globe.

You have:

- strong experience in social media management and content creation
- strong writing ability with examples to back this up
- a geek passion for technology and digital
- a strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and tools (ideally demonstrated by experience producing content for tech companies)
- the ability to produce various types of social media content from static images to basic animated GIFs, and short-form videos
- a good understanding of current trends on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
- effective task management and ability to juggle and deliver multiple jobs at a time
- exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience working with tools, such as Canva, Figma, Adobe CC, and the ability to use video editing software would be a plus.

**Qualifications**

Ideally, you hold a tertiary qualification in communications or marketing.
