When you’re part of the Summerset team, you belong to a place where your work has real impact, who you are is fully embraced and where your career flourishes. **We are looking for exceptional Caregivers to join our Kenepuru village, Summerset on the Landing.** **This is a permanent, part-time role to be performed across a rotational roster 4 shifts on, 2 shifts off.** At Summerset we are here to bring the best of life to our residents. To do this, we know we need to take care of our people to form a team who are strong enough to care, operate as one team, and strive to do their best. This is a busy and diverse role, assisting residents with their day-to-day activities such as showering, delivering meals and much more. Therefore, you will need to be resilient, kind and patient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in personal care. **Responsibilities include but are not limited to**: - Provide personal care to residents under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, including assistance with daily needs such as showering, meals, toileting, and other tasks as outlined in individual care plans. - Foster respectful and supportive relationships with residents and their families to enhance mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Assist in delivering activity programs tailored to residents' needs. - Contribute to creating a welcoming, enjoyable, and safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff. - Provide care assistance across the village, including first aid response and support for residents in Care Centre, Villas, Apartments, and Care Apartments as needed. - Adhere to policies and procedures, maintain accurate records, promptly report concerns, and ensure professional and ethical conduct. - Perform additional tasks as required, such as cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, escorting residents, or assisting with organized activities. - Please click here to view the full job description. **Qualifications**: - A team player who collaborates effectively to support residents. - Genuine interest in working with older people. - Empathy, kindness, patience, and emotional resilience for challenging situations. - Strong communication skills. - Positive, "can-do" attitude, be available to work on a rostered and rotating shift pattern (including mornings, afternoon and weekends). **Additional Information**: **What’s is in it for you?
