**About the role**

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be part of a team involved in making sure the services within virtualization environment are functioning properly through successful performance and coordination of activities involving triage/troubleshooting, patching, and software implementations/upgrades just to name a few. If you love making everything run smoothly and knowing your work makes the business succeed, then this is the opportunity for you. **Responsibilities**
- Plan and execute systems lifecycle activities for the virtualization environments such as upgrades, patching, capacity management, and technology augmentation
- Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
- Willingness to mentor and train junior level resources.

**What do you need?**
- You have at least 5 years of experience with VMware engineering.
- Experienced working with VMware vSphere, NSX, VMware Cloud Director, vCenter and ESXI
- Linux and Oracle experience is an advantage
- Solid understanding of system automation is a big bonus
- You have in-depth experience with corresponding hardware such as HPE
