We’re looking for a strategic and commercially minded Finance Project Lead To support the GM Financial Operations with the implementation of strategic initiatives that impact finance and lead projects to create efficiencies and improve finance processes

What you’ll be doing:

- Collaborate closely with the GM Financial Operations and project teams to implement strategic initiatives and cross-functional finance projects across the business.
- Analyse existing financial processes, identify improvement opportunities and change requirements, and design future-state workflows aligned with new systems.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support process consistency and compliance.
- Manage end-to-end project activities including issue resolution, data migration, system testing, and implementation support.
- Act as a change agent by assessing the impact of process changes and facilitating smooth transitions through stakeholder engagement and training.
- Support continuous improvement efforts of existing finance operations, making processes more efficient, and ensuring alignment with best practices and technology solutions.

**This is a 12 month fixed term contract.**

**What We're Looking For - Tā mātou e kimi nei**:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

- 10yrs+ PQE in financial accounting, preferably in large organisations
- Degree qualified, Charted Accountant (or international equivalent)
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills and ability to work through and understand complex process flows.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
- Experience working on large scale systems implementations and process changes
- Excellent understanding of financial operations, systems and processes.
- Strong communication skills, both with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated competence in continuous improvement
- Experience in media or content beneficial but not essential
