ABI Rehabilitation is a leading service provider for clients with moderate to severe acquired brain injuries with inpatient facilities in Wellington and Auckland. We tailor individual rehabilitation programmes to clients' physical, cognitive and spiritual needs with a strong focus on interdisciplinary teamwork and family involvement.

The primary focus of this role is assessing patients and coordinating services to ensure timely transition from Te Whatu Ora to intensive rehabilitation. This includes providing information and support to family-whānau, liaison with ABI intensive services, and providing specialist advice to hospital staff. You will be predominately hospital based and an integral part of the ABI rehabilitation team and wider hospital inter-professional teams.

**_ Essential skills:_**
- At least three years' experience in a neuro setting (e.g., Neurosurgery, Stroke, AT&R, ED)
- Advanced assessment and clinical reasoning skills
- Preferred qualifications at post-graduate level
- Expert management of interpersonal relationships across disciplines
- Strong organisational and time management skills
