**Mō tēnei mahi | About this job**
We are seeking a Kaiāwhina to support our Kaiako in the delivery of our **_Te Ara Reo Māori Level 3 & 4, He Pii Ka Rere _**programme, manage day-to-day activities in the delivery of the programme, prepare documentation / general administration and resource development, recruitment of tauira, and support tauira learning in class.
This is a **_Permanent /Part-Time _**_(15 of hours per _week) position, based out of the **_Heretaunga _**campus at **205 Hastings St South**. Some flexibility will be required to work some weekends and evenings.
**Mōu | About you**
If you have a passion to pathway into teaching te reo Māori, if you want to further develop what you already know and learn from a team of other Kaiako and Kaiāwhina who are also passionate about te reo Māori, then this role is for you
- Be able to confidently converse in te reo Māori
- Be able to evidence their experience using or navigating systems that support tauira learning
- Be confident using Microsoft Office Applications
- Have proven administration experience
- Level 4 Te Reo or Tikanga qualifications are preferred, or a willingness to study towards gaining a qualification
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
