Generalist IT Engineer

This role will see you solving complex technical challenges and delivering high-quality solutions across infrastructure, networking, cloud and modern workplace technologies. 

Working across multiple client environments, this role combines technical support, project delivery and client engagement, offering a varied workload. Starting in the new year, this permanent position will see you working a standard 40 hour week, with some flexibility to split your time between the office and working from home. 

Some duties you'll be tasked with include:

• Providing level 2.5/3 technical support for clients, both remotely and onsite.
• Design, configure and support networks from multiple vendors including firewalls, switches, access points, VPNs and VLANs.
• Manage user identities, access controls and conditional access policies to maintain security and compliance.
• Prepare detailed project plans, technical documentation and post-implementation reports.
• Work closely with account managers to identify upgrade opportunities and technical enhancements.

What you'll bring

• 5+ years of experience in a Level 2-3 IT Engineer role within an MSP or multi-client environment.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with multiple networking solutions from a variety of vendors.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience delivering IT projects end-to-end in customer environments.

You'll be well versed with troubleshooting and possess analytical skills across desktop, server and network technologies.
