**About the Role**:
The Physicians Assistantwill provide administrative and executive support to our clinical staff. Reporting to the Clinical Director, this newly created role will be essential to the smooth running of our practice and to improving the patient experience.

Due to the highly confidential nature of this position, discretion along with excellent people skills are vital.

**Key areas of responsibility**:

- Providing administrative and executive support to clinical staff.
- Managing results inboxes,
- Drafting clinical reports.
- Overseeing patient/GP communication and ensuring all communication threads have been completed.
- Arranging patient referrals.
- Identifying and improving system inefficiencies.
- Being proactive in ensuring that patients needs are met.

**Skills & Experience**

To succeed in this position, you will need:

- This role would suit someone with a strong medical knowledge or someone with a medical qualification who is awaiting registration.
- Proven organisational and administration skills.
- Good time management.
- Experience of providing executive/clinical support.
- Exceptional people skills.
- Drive and initiative.
- Calm when working under pressure.
- Adaptability as no two days will be the same.
- Competence in IT and an ability to learn new computer systems.
- Experience of working within a general practice is highly desirable.
