Sunrise Healthcare Limited is a medium sized business in the Aged Care industry. We provide care to elderly patients.

We are looking for that special, energetic person who lives to care and to serve with empathy and kindness for our residents. An opportunity has opened up to join us at our West Auckland branch.

**Position Details**:

- Permanent, full-time position; minimum of 30 hours per week
- Monday to Friday with some flexibility to alter days of the week worked to suit planned activities

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement a programme of recreational, diversional, social and craft activities for the residents
- Building relationships with external partners to ensure a varied and exciting activity offering
- Caring for our residents and developing lasting relationships with them and their families
- Following our resident's individual care plans
- Documenting and writing regular notes in a computerised care system
- Leading van outings

**The successful applicant will**:

- Possess great communication skills
- Have empathy towards the elderly, good interpersonal customer service skills
- Have an outgoing personality
- Have a Full NZ Driver's License

**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
