Experienced Motel/Hotel Manager wanted

We are now looking for 1 full-time Motel/Hotel Manager to join us, working in Christchurch.

This is a permanent role, you may work for 32-40 hours per week, from Monday to Saturday. 30 hours per week are guaranteed. The hourly rate for this role is $30- $35 per hour( depending on your experience and ability).

**Your duties include**:
organising and controlling the operations of our hotel to provide guest accommodation and other services( such as activity booking).
- directing and overseeing reservation, reception and room service activities
- hiring, training and supervising housekeepers
- supervising security arrangements and property maintenance
- assessing and reviewing customer satisfaction
- keep records of accounting and purchasing activities
- ensuring compliance with council regulation and laws
- ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- providing guests with local tourism information, and arrange tours and transportation

**What We Expect from You**:

- At least 2 years’ relevant working experience( such as motel/hotel manager, or motel/hotel receptionist) ,
- Willingness to work for some night shift( particularly when the night duty manager is on leave )
- Good communication skills and a strong customer service attitude.
- Speaking Mandarin will be an advantage (not compulsory)( as we serve a considerable number of group guests from the Greater China region)Priority will be given to NZ residents or citizens.
