Parts Manager

**About the Role**:
Key job functions will include:
- Being the departmental lead for Penske Purpose and Values
- Leading and managing the parts team to ensure that efficiencies in operations are monitored, achieved and exceeded
- Drive a culture of safety, quality and productivity across the parts department
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships to drive repeat and referral business
- Actively engage with all Dealers in the Tauranga Branch PMA (south of the Bombay Hills to the bottom of the North Island), while providing service levels that ensures Penske is the parts supplier of choice
- Provide 10/10 customer service levels and demonstrate the Penske values by providing the efficient and timely supply of parts to achieve a monthly +70 NPS score.
- Manage the branch parts inventory, return to suppliers and obsolescence within budgeted funds and manage stock turn ratios to achieve mínimal loss
- Ensure inventory supplies are at appropriate levels and develop and maintain effective stock order forecasts
- Focus on reducing and eliminating slow moving stock
- Achieve and exceed annual financial operating targets for revenue, gross margin and expenses
- Oversee the recruitment of all employees in the parts division
- Monitor competitors activities, product performance and market trends and provide regular updates to branch management
- Work with other Penske Parts Managers to ensure the “One Penske” approach is followed for all transactions and processes
**About You**:
In order to be successful in this role, you will offer:
- At least three years of management experience in an industrial/service environment
- A minimum of five years of automotive parts experience
- Demonstrated ability in successfully managing, developing and motivating a team
- A customer focussed, team player mindset
- The confidence to develop outstanding relationships with all customers, and represent the Penske brand with high levels of professionalism
- Have a high energy, high output persona and a resilient nature
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate/Advanced MS Office skills and ability to learn and use company-specific software
- Strong experience in understanding and interpreting financial reports
- Ability to deliver training on parts and internal systems to a dealer network
