**About the Role**

We are seeking 1'2 experienced and compassionate Clinical & Health Psychologist/s to join our multidisciplinary team at the Southern Pelvic Mesh Service. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a nationally funded service supporting individuals experiencing complications following pelvic mesh surgery. This is also unique as it is a new position, and we are looking for someone with energy and passion to set up a high standard psychological service within the southern hub of the New Zealand female pelvic mesh service.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a highly collaborative team alongside medical, surgical, allied, and nursing colleagues. You will provide psychological assessment and intervention within a trauma-informed framework, with a clinical focus on persistent pain, sexual health, and trauma.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will be/have:

- Registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board as a Clinical or Health Psychologist
- Skilled in working with complexity and psychological distress in a medical context
- Committed to equity, collaboration, and compassionate care
- Be part of an innovative, supportive service making a real difference
- Excellent time management, documentation and clinical assessment skills
- Have a working understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi and demonstrated commitment to biculturalism and working with culturally and linguistically diverse persons

**Please note**: We are ideally seeking a mix of Clinical and Health Psychologists, as each brings valuable and complementary perspectives to this work. Due to the complexity of the clinical presentations, at least one appointment must be a Clinical Psychologist. We may consider general scope psychologists if you have the right experience and skill mix.
