Exciting, new position for an experienced L&D Specialist to join our passionate and collaborative People & Culture team. In this role you will report directly to the Talent & Capability Manager and be responsible for the analysis, design and development of a broad range of solutions to build the capability of our people as they progress in their career with Chapman Tripp.

**The role will involve**:

- Leading the programme of work around evolving and implementing the firm’s professional development framework and calendar
- The full life-cycle for implementation of self-paced, digital and group learning solutions
- Facilitation and coordination of workshops to support firm strategy and goals for people development
- Overseeing the annual CPD processes for the firm
- Maintaining resources and learning materials including the LMS and management of mandatory certifications and compliance
- Working with the Talent & Capability Manager on a range of learning strategies which support talent management, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, mentoring, coaching and leadership capability, as appropriate to support the firm
- Partner and provider liaison as well as internal and external stakeholder management
- Regular reporting, and collaboration with the wider P&C team as required

**You will bring**:

- 6+ years’ experience in learning and development roles
- Proficiency with learning needs analysis, a strong understanding of adult learning principles and learning evaluation strategies
- Instructional design experience for a range of delivery modes across multiple portfolios
- Highly developed interpersonal, networking and communication skills
- High personal motivation, attention to detail and quality customer-centric focus
- Strong commercial acumen, ideally with experience in professional services and complex matrix environments
- A sense of humour along with your pragmatic and practical approach
