**About the role**

The main objective of the SME Data Systems and Reporting is to enhance the functionality of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and other reporting systems, in order to gain valuable insights into the Tauira (Student) experience. The SME will be responsible for managing SFMC and utilising other reporting systems, including developing and implementing Tauira journeys to improve their overall experience.

**Responsibilities include (but not limited to)**:

- Build complex campaigns with dynamic content utilising scripting language
- Develop elements of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Journeys
- Establish data and reporting needs for the Tauira Journey in consultation with relevant wāhanga
- Develop and maintain core research and analytical data sets.
- Undertake project work to investigate, analyse and answer key organisational questions relating to the Tauira Journey
- Support the upline manager in the development and maintenance of core analytical insights, including presentations, factsheets, research snapshots, intelligence updates and other intelligence collateral.

**About you**

You will ideally have:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
- 5 years plus experience in designing, developing and maintaining data systems and reporting solutions
- Significant experience analysing, investigating, and interpreting data, issues, and situations
- High-level expertise in Power BI, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and analytics software
- Experienced in project management, strategic development, customer needs analysis and budgeting for projects
- Experience in research design, preferably comfortable in quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to deliver strategic advice and engage with senior/executive stakeholders

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
