**About the role**

Reporting to our Pumps & Storage Manager, you will be responsible for managing and directing pumps and reservoirs service work crews to ensure efficient and effective operation.

Your key accountabilities will be in the following areas:

- People Leadership - Managing contract staffing levels, employee coaching, training and development, arranging rosters and managing workload, maintaining good relationships and handling problems effectively.
- Health & safety, Environmental and Quality Standards - Adhere and ensure your team adheres to relevant policies and procedures as well as completing reporting and resolving issues to help to promote a zero-tolerance mindset in workplace incidents.
- Contract Management - Understand and work to ensure the team are meeting all contract requirements and client expectations.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have the below key skills and attributes:

- A minimum of 5 years experience in the Water Construction or Maintenance Industry
- Proven excellence managing staff
- Sound knowledge of plant operation and maintenance for pumps and reservoir activities
- Safety Supervisors certification as well as working knowledge of the Health & Safety in Employment Act
- Your Class 1 & 2 Drivers License (essential)
- Traffic Management Qualifications
