Hawkes Bay - vibrant, fresh and at the centre of food lovers’ paradise Based in beautiful Havelock North, the vibrant heart of Hawke’s Bay, Havelock North New World is a well-established store capable of catering to the very discerning needs of our varied clientele. We are including an ever-increasing selection of artisan and specialty products in our range, and this is creating opportunities in a very innovative Chilled Foods department. Due to this, we have an opening for a Chilled/Frozen Foods Manager.

We are seeking someone who has a passion for food; ideally has supermarket (or similar) experience and proven ability to manage staff. You will also have buyer responsibilities.

This is a full-time position.

**Hours are**:
Sun
- Thursday

6:30am-3pm

We are looking for someone who is passionate about good quality food - someone who is an experienced team leader and can develop staff to be high achievers in customer service and retailing.

This is a real opportunity to showcase your food retail skills and product knowledge and the chance to work in a dynamic, high-energy environment.

**Daily tasks include**:

- Managing and maintaining all store standards, ensuring the chilled/frozen department is fully stocked and everything is full, fresh and of the best quality possible
- Managing the rotation of stock
- Managing staff
- Maintaining and managing the cleanliness of the store keeping it up to the set standard
- Managing all aspects of department resourcing
- Managing and achieving set targets and KPI’s for the Department
