The Creative team are responsible for creating world-class ideas that will form the heart of effective, behaviour-changing campaigns. The Senior Copywriter will create and/or contribute to these ideas and work with the creative and wider team to bring these ideas to life brilliantly in market.

THE PRIMARY FUNCTION & VISION FOR THE ROLE
The Senior Copywriter is a strong conceptual thinker and written word expert ie. a storyteller.
They will work closely with the Creative Director with a strong focus on creating brave, disruptive and inspiring ideas. They will also be charged with articulating these ideas via powerful and persuasive copy in the media or channel required. They will work with the design team to execute these ideas to the highest visual standard.
They will be responsible for delivering written content elements to meet the requirements of the brief, including print, experiential, digital, social and other media channels.
This role is client-facing and they will required to present their ideas and copy effectively to range of client levels.

- To be able to translate strategy into effective concept and execution across all required media and channels.
- Able to interpret and respond to client briefs with appropriate conceptual solutions.
- An ability to talk persuasively and compellingly about conceptual work.
- To champion the agency, our professional recommendations and product.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates and/or contributes to the generation of brave and disruptive ideas.
- Produces copy solutions of the highest standard that will effectively communicate with the target audience and fulfil the marketing objectives from the brief.
- Understanding and implementing brand strategies and translating strategies into dynamic and effective conceptual solutions.
- Partner with the Creative Director on specific projects as required.
- Develops strong client-relations and presentation skills to effectively sell Raydar's creative solutions.
- Remains informed and passionate about the advertising industry and keeps abreast of copy/creative and business trends.
- To raise the company profile in the field of copy/craft and effective communication through successful submissions for relevant industry awards.
- Understands our client's business and acts as a guardian of their guidelines and brand equity.
- Is well organised, working daily with the Client Service project owners to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met on time and within budget.
- Collaborates with the team to share learnings and experiences to enhance the level of copy and crafting of all advertising elements.
- Manages resources with commercial responsibility, ensuring profitability of projects.
- Is flexible and willing to put in the extra time when required to meet deadlines.
