**The Purpose**
This position focuses on the recruitment and retention of members for the business with a designated region where you will be looking after Auckland and the Northland area. With 40% account management, 60% membership, and stepping away from staring at four walls - you will be on the road 60% of the time. Key responsibilities - not limited to
- Recruiting new members to join the business by providing prospective information and regular visits where appropriate or when requested
- Maintaining the relationships with existing members to ensure you provide a high level of service across requests and enquires within the region you are looking after
- Provide the knowledge to new and existing members to have accessibility to member services across selective programmes
- Managing an updated and clean membership database by checking with members to ensure no changes have taken place
- Co-ordinate projects related to the membership services and support that may come up from time to time
- Design and create sales proposals to potential members and conduct research to keep active businesses on your list of potential
- Liaise with the local council within the region you are looking after and become the voice for those in the communities

**To succeed in this role**
- A recruitment background - nice to have
- Hospitality background - would be desirable
- Understands the approach and a go-getter attitude
- Likes the thrill of the chase with sales and building the relationships
- Empathy and good listener, understanding of the situations, especially with changes in this sector due to COVID

**Skills and Understanding**
- Experience in database management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-focused and relationship management
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines
