**Job Description**:
**About the Role**

The Dev Ops Engineer will work closely with the Development Manager to encourage closer collaboration between operation and development teams, advising on technology relate d issues and making recommendations on the continuous delivery process, supporting both the operations and development teams.

The primary function of this role is to drive the DevOps culture and best practice as well as
providing leadership and guidance to the teams. You will participate in making enhancements to illion DTS continuous delivery process, which includes infrastructure design, coding,
debugging, code reviews, testing, automation and documentation, as required.

**Functional Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Program Development which includes: Coding, Testing, Debugging, Code Review, Change Control
- Manage patch releases and deployment
- Release Management and Deployment Management

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years' experience working and supporting in an enterprise environment
- Linux and Windows Server Administration skills
- Amazon AWS experience./Certifications
- Kubernetes experience (GitOps).
- Terraform exposure/experience.
- Experience working closely with Engineers and testers.
- Strong Programming/Scripting background (C#, PowerShell, Python)
- Configuration management tools e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Salt
- Knowledge in Cloud architecture and design principles
