**About the role**:
We are looking for a Credit Control Officer to join our Wellington based Credit Control Team. This is a crucial role to the organisation as you will assist customers who have account arrears whilst still providing them with a positive, empathetic experience.

**What's exciting about the role**:

- Arrange payment or payment instructions for any immediate arrears, and negotiate payment arrangements for aged debt to ensure debt collections are undertaken
- Work alongside customers to obtain a successful outcome through consistent and reasonable communication
- Accurately and efficiently record all touchpoints and credit actions and outcomes to ensure visibility and transparency for future reviews and disputes resolutions
- Ensure all escalations, follow-ups and complaints are reviewed, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner
- Liaison with other teams (i.e. Sales, Customer Services, Customer Support, Equipment Management) for timely resolution
- Status Reporting when required
- Professionally liaise with our preferred collection agency for any debts being referred, enquiries regarding referred debt, and return of equipment when requested
- Work closely with Liquidators and Receivers to manage accounts in liquidation or receivership

We are looking for someone who is results driven, customer focused, with excellent negotiating skills and the ability to get commitment from others.
