**About the Role**

Waikato Waikids (Paediatric) early childhood team based at Waikato Hospital are seeking an experienced and highly motivated part time teacher to work Monday to Friday 10am to 2pm.

You will provide and promote the psychosocial care of paediatric clients and their whaanau through a comprehensive play facility that assists the understanding of illness, treatment and hospitalisation

**About you**

This role is suited to a person who is a self motivated, experienced ECE teacher looking for a challenging role that offers work life balance.

You will have:

- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
- a high level of initiative and adaptability
- excellent communication and time management skills
- high attention to detail and accuracy
- a Bachelor degree in Teaching (ECE)/Diploma of Teaching (ECE)
- full Registration with the Teachers Council of NZ.
