About the role:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide commercial business support and analysis to the NZLT and Operations team (Stores and Trade Centres, In Home Services, Customer Experience and Loss Prevention).

Reporting to our NZ Senior Finance Manager, you will directly support and influence our Leadership team to deliver commercial growth plans in line with the commercial strategic agenda.

This role will be based out of our Ellerslie based, Auckland Support Office, with hybrid working options available.

What's involved:

- Work cross functionally to assist in setting clear KPI’s for trials, reporting and analysis of key outcomes and providing visibility for any ad hoc requests
- Support the annual planning and budget cycle by liaising with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and achievable targets are set.
- Create, analyse and review of data driven work within the team
- Guide the NZLT and Operations team to execute on their strategic agenda whilst ensuring positive financial outcomes will result, maintaining appropriate controls.

Who we’re looking for:
Bringing your demonstrated experience across commercial accounting, you will be comfortable working in an environment where there are changes in business needs and have a deep understanding of macro trends impacting financial outcomes.

You will be an effective communicator with well-developed ability and experience engaging with stakeholders at varied levels (both finance and non-finance) to build trusted relationships, adding strategic and operational value.

You will be commercially minded, data driven, and customer focused, with the ability to utilise financial information to influence positive commercial outcomes. You will be comfortable working in large organisations at pace, with the ability to work autonomously and manage timelines effectively.

You’ll need:

- Demonstrated experience working in a similar role, with solid experience working in fast-paced finance or analytics function
- CA or CPA qualified
- Degree qualified in accounting, commerce or similar
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Experience using PowerBI or Congos would be highly regarded.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and high-level influencing skills
- Ability to analyse complex challenges and deliver insightful, practical solutions, with a creative flair.
