Are you passionate about teaching water safety to our youngest learners? We’re recruiting a **Swim Teacher**to work with a local swim school based in Timaru. If you love working with babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children — and know how to make learning fun and safe — this is your chance to make a difference

**About the Role**

You’ll be responsible for leading fun, engaging, and safe swim lessons for children aged **3 months to 5 years**, helping build water confidence and foundational swimming skills through age-appropriate activities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver hands-on structured and play-based swimming lessons for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Provide a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for both children and caregivers
- Foster water confidence and safety awareness through movement, games, and guided activities
- Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers regarding progress and participation
- Follow lesson plans aligned with the swim school’s programmes
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times in and around the pool

**No Qualification Required - Just the Right Attitude**

- A natural with babies and toddlers — calm, kind, and patient
- Confident and enthusiastic communicator
- Reliable and safety-focused
- Physically comfortable in the water
- Happy to engage with parents/caregivers
