**The Opportunity**:
As a result of a recent internal promotion, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team on a fulltime, permanent basis. Reporting to a Commercial Manager in NZ, while forming part of a larger finance team based in Australia, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for completing all accounts payable duties in a timely and efficient manner.

**Specific Job functions**:

- Record and PO match of local supplier invoices into the company AP system
- Follow up all pending invoices in a timely manner
- Ensure correct approval, coding, and matching of invoices / credit notes
Set up new creditors with correct and complete details as per company policy
- Attend to and clear hold/not validated invoices for month end process
- Reconcile large supplier accounts and follow up on any outstanding transactions
- Organise weekly and monthly EFT payment runs to suppliers
- Update supplier details as and when required
- Process employee expenses in internal expense system and prepare payments

**About You**:
You will offer previous and recent experience in an accounts payable role within a large complex environment. You will have strong data entry skills and you will offer proficiency in the MS Office suite, in particular MS Excel. You will be a team player and able to manage your time efficiently. Strong attention to detail will be one of your greatest strengths.
