**The Opportunity**:
Food Sample Testing is one of the biggest services our large organisation provides to local food growers and producers. This involves us collecting, processing & testing thousands of food samples every year.

We are looking for people to prepare and process each food sample so that it's ready for testing.
Parts of the process line you might get allocated to include:

- Receive packages from delivery drivers and unpack food samples. Packing food samples and sending them for delivery to other sites.
- Data entry input the samples information into the computer system.
- Storing samples according to the environment they need to be stored in. e.g. some samples will need to be refrigerated or frozen.
- Taking samples to other parts of the worksite, so that they can then be tested.
- Maintain temperature records.
- Assisting team members and any further steps required to prepare food samples for testing.
These are 40 hour per week permanent jobs, based at our worksite in Blockhouse Bay / Lynfield.
**About You**:
You will be eligible to do this role if you have the following:

- Prior employment experience within a busy & fast paced role
- Good attention to detail
- Good English communication skills
- Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and have a clean criminal record
- Ideally also have completed a minimum of NCEA level 2 in Science
- Ability to commit to a roster time that we have available.
Our roster times available are:

- 9am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday
- 12pm - 8:30pm, Monday - Friday
- 12pm - 8:30pm, Tuesday - Friday, & 8:30am - 5pm Saturday
- 9am - 6:30pm, Monday to Thursday, & 7am - 3:30pm Sunday
- 12pm - 8:30pm, Monday - Thursday, & 8:30am - 5pm Sunday
