**_This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity. The role can be based in Auckland (New Zealand) or Sydney (Australia)._**
- The opportunityThe purpose of this position is to lead the technical delivery aspects of Suntory Oceania’s R&D Laboratory CAPEX project in Australia, with focus on the procurement and commissioning of laboratory equipment, as well as setting up sound operational policies and processes to ensure operational readiness of the lab and alignment of R&D facilities across Suntory Oceania.

This role may also be responsible for building new processes and policies relevant for both facilities, liaising with suppliers / contractors / SMEs from a technical perspective, validation of equipment, work on supplementary CAPEX projects, writing SOPs, and running training sessions with the wider R&D team.
- What's in your toolkit?- Experience with laboratory management and/or CAPEX projects.
- Ability to discuss design issues with technical, designers and engineers.
- A degree in Food Science or similar.
- A passion for science and food.
- Product development experience desirable, but not essential.
