**Ngā Aramahi me te Hoahoa Haumi**: Careers & Investment Design Directorate
The Careers & Investment Design Directorate (CIDD) is responsible for developing strategies, initiatives and policies that enable the organisation to effectively and efficiently meet its goals in the areas of careers and investment.
All teams in the directorate are focused on work that develops, leads or contributes to the design of these strategies, initiatives and policies. They are responsible for developing the interventions and plans off those strategies, and then marketing and communicating the integrated view of what TEC wants to achieve. The basis of our work is the horizontal work model and so the CIDD teams work in partnership with teams from other directorates so the design and commissioning of new products and initiatives is a collaborative process that ensures successful implementation and delivery.
**He angitūtanga**: About the Role
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Careers & Investment Design, this role is responsible for ownership of the delivery of the National Careers System Strategy and initiatives.
- Lead the current strategy implementation and priorities. Deliver any new initiatives/products that are required by the organisation.
- Manage a team to deliver on TEC's Careers strategy and priorities. Develop and implement team workplans.
- Maintain strong relationships across the Careers system to build influence to achieve outcomes.
**He kōrero mōu: What we are looking for**:
You will be responsible for eight direct reports with 18 indirect reports. We are seeking an experienced leader who can develop a high-performance team culture and knows how to effectively commission work and allocate resources. You will bring the following:
- Experience taking a strategy from a concept into implementation and delivery
- Ability to engage meaningfully within te ao Māori, honour te tiriti o Waitangi, and champion culturally affirming practices.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to model and embrace change and new ways of working
- Experience with digital product development and delivery (web and multi-channel)
- Ideally some experience and knowledge of the Careers System, career development theory and best practice
- Ideally experience with public facing programmes - direct to consumer.

The salary range for this position starts from $153,244 up to $180,287 depending on demonstrable skills and experience
