**Your new role**
The purpose of this role is to design, build, secure and monitor data pipelines and data stores. This includes working with the Data Architect and Data Analysts to create implementation options and build technical solutions that meet business requirements. In addition produces, tests and tunes code to agreed standards, meeting both functional and non-functional requirements are also a part of the responsibilities.

Key accountabilities include:

- Designing, implementing and maintaining of complex data engineering solutions to prepare and present data
- Security and compliance monitoring of data standards
- Implementing data engineering standards and tools to create and maintain data pipelines and extract, transform and lead data
- Development of data engineering solutions to ensure that solutions balance functional and non
- functional requirements

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience with on-prem Microsoft SQL Server 2019 data warehouse, ETL (SSIS) suite, SQL Querying, Stored Procedures, SSIS and Agent Jobs
- Knowledge in DevOps/ Git repos, Unit testing and documentation experience
- Expertise in Data warehousing and QlikSense

Advantageous skills
- Experience in Azure pipelines and automated testing
- Understanding data and reporting requirements and translate them into BI tool
- Experience in working with Scrum and Kanban as well as DevOps Concepts
