**The opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Auditor to join our Horticulture, Food & Dairy team with flexibility around location
The role of an Auditor holds REAL responsibility including
- Analysing processes, records and systems to ensure compliance standards are met
- Delivery of, and direction around, innovative focus and solutions within the dairy & food processing and manufacturing industries
- Staying ahead of the game with up to date information and understanding of how change may affect the variety of businesses dealt with.
Your previous experience of the dairy industry and background knowledge of internal and external auditing requirements will provide the cornerstone to success as you work with a dedicated team of specialists who provide national auditing and certification services throughout NZ and around the globe,
**About you**:
Please be aware this role has a flexible location but will require frequent travel with the possibility of nights away from home each week. There is the opportunity to work from home as well, so work life balance is taken into consideration.
To be considered for this role will require
- A strong background in dairy manufacturing and quality management
- An understanding of regulatory environments and knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
- Proven success from internal and external audit experience with HACCP awareness.
- The ability to build strong, trusted relationships quickly
- Familiarity with the dairy legislative framework and RMPs is highly regarded
- An eye for detail and a passion for quality
A tertiary qualification related to the dairy manufacturing sector is also an advantage in this role.
