An opportunity has become available to join our Marketing and Customer group as our Marketing Communications Coordinator. This role covers the operational and executional layer of Communications for Toyota and Lexus NZ and involves the creation, coordination, and distribution of content across all social media channels to support Toyota and Lexus Marketing initiatives and campaign launches. Alongside this you will support on all communications work whether it be PR, corporate or customer communications and ensure all content is accurate, up to date and aligns with Toyota New Zealand’s business requirements.

To be successful in this role you will have a real desire to create memorable marketing communications. Things at Toyota can move quickly, so energy and enthusiasm for all things communications will put you in good stead for success in this role. You will be the type of person who thrives on meeting deadlines, and you will naturally be the type of person who is highly organised.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Taking ownership of the social media channels, including planning, scheduling, and growth of our communities- Overseeing daily social media activity including Facebook, Instagram, You Tube, Twitter, and LinkedIn- Working with external suppliers to ensure content accuracy and deadlines are met- Editing/proofing and managing any outsourced support- Development of written communications, including corporate communications, media releases, EDMs and other corporate communications required- Working directly with social media influencers and ambassadors to build content to support the Toyota New Zealand brand- Coordination of the Toyota Press Fleet to ensure correct vehicles are available for press launches for key media stakeholdersWe pride ourselves on our people so to be successful in the role you will need:

- Communications or Marketing Degree (preferred)- Communications or brand social media experience and the ability to represent the brand in a positive manner- Experience using a multitude of social media channels and reporting tools a bonus- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy- To be a creative writer with strong written and oral communications, research, copywriting, editing and proofreading skills across print and digital platformsSo, who are we?
