Position Description

As Programme Manager - Infrastructure, you will be responsible for successfully managing strategic programmes in accordance with Rotorua Lakes Council's project portfolio management practices. This means working with the sponsors and business owners to identify, plan and deliver specified programme objectives, with satisfied stakeholders and within agreed cost, time, quality and risk parameters.

Critical to this role will be your ability to take ownership of programme development and to lead and coach Project leads in the successful delivery of programme outcomes. As part of your toolkit, you will have strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to build an effective partnering culture with Iwi partners.

A Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business, Project Portfolio Management or related field and/or 10 years' experience managing large or complex Programme and Projects is essential, as is a proven record of contract supervision in relation to contractors and professional services.
