Architectural Draftsperson

Join the Newtech Homes team as an Architectural Draftsperson We are seeking a talented individual to assist our Construction Managers and Surveyors in planning and organizing our exciting projects. **Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with Construction Managers, Architects, and Surveyors to ensure efficient planning and organization of projects.
- Interpret plans, regulations, and codes of practice to ensure compliance and adherence to standards.
- Prepare preliminary sketches, working drawings, and specifications that meet project requirements.
- Edit and revise plans, maps, charts, and drawings to maintain accuracy and clarity.
- Coordinate works programs to optimize project timelines and resources.
- Conduct inspections to ensure work and materials comply with specifications, regulations, and standards.
- Calculate costs and estimate time scales to assist in project budgeting.
- Utilize surveying instruments and photogrammetric equipment to collect necessary data.
- Perform routine computations and plot preliminary data for analysis.

**Requirements**:

- Related diploma and above qualification is desirable
- 3 years industrial experiences are required
- Strong proficiency in architectural drafting and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Solid understanding of construction practices, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret complex plans and specifications.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team.

Working hours:
30-40 hours a week within working hours from 9:30 am -5:30 Pm (Mon - Fri)
