Service Delivery Supervisor

**Here’s what you'll do**

We are seeking an experienced operations person to manage our delivery staff and drivers, working with our Freight Partners to ensure all company health and safety policies are followed and our teams are safe and in the correct personal protective equipment.

You will oversee and develop the Tauranga area delivery services, postal and local delivery operations processes and resource, to meet company service delivery, cost efficiency, and growth objectives.

This is a **Permanent **Full-time position, 40 hrs. per week, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm **(however flexibility is required depending on the operational requirements), based in **Tauranga**.

**What we’re looking for**

Some of the key things you will need to perform this role successfully are:

- Available to work from Monday to Friday.
- Manage/deal with all issues pertaining to the region’s Postal Sort and Delivery Operation and implement staff management strategies as directed to you by company management.
- Takes responsibility for own safety and that of other staff and teams.
- Positive and enthusiastic team player who thrives on challenges and change.
- Organized and methodical approach to work processes.
- In conjunction with the Regional Managers, develop, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the street delivery network across the Tauranga region.
- Effective communication with internal and external customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Maintain good communication lines between management and all postal delivery staff
- Liaise with and provide support to National Operations, National Sales, Customer Support, Finance and key suppliers.
- Continuously work toward achieving “Total Customer Satisfaction”
- Flexible and adaptable relative to business requirements.
- Prepared to get in and help with the workflow as volumes dictate.
- Complete timely reporting on KPIs and other administrative tasks.
