**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

The Workforce Lead is key role leading the mahi to support the development of the allied health, technical and scientific workforce. You will work closely with the allied health leads to develop innovation and workforce changing initiatives that lead to the development of a flexible future health workforce. This includes working across programmes taking an interprofessional approach to workforce development. There are many opportunities to tap into and this is an exciting time to join the team and work with passionate health professionals to deliver tangible workforce change.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Demonstrated prior experience in successfully managing initiatives from conception through to execution that involves change initiatives and/or service improvement programmes (in the range of 5 years). Supported by a knowledge of the New Zealand Health sector and/or relevant technical field
- Significant senior level engagement with demonstrated experienced in building effective relationships with all levels of the organisation and stakeholders
- Ability to communicate effectively at a senior level through multiple channels
- Is able to build effective relationships with all levels of the organisation and with stakeholders and of Matauranga Māori; an ability to walk in both worlds is ideal, or on the path to gaining this knowledge.
