**About the company**

The company is a successful steel fabrication and engineering company that has been running for many decades in Australia. They have an established network of clients and projects from the mining, construction and industrial sectors. They are independently owned and have a fully established workshop designing, fabricating and installing steel products for their clients in the region.

**About the role**

This is a full-time permanent role paid hourly rates and based in Rockhampton.

As the Steel Detailer / Drafter you will use Inventor to create drawings of structural steel elements such as steel stairs, handrails, platforms, dump hoppers, tank bins, hoppers, conveyer belts etc.

Expertise in Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD will be considered, but Inventor is ideal. A background in steel drafting is essential and knowledge of mining or construction would be beneficial

**Requirements for this role**
- Strong Autodesk Inventor
- Experience as a Steel Detailer / Drafter
- Knowledge of the mining of construction sectors
- Strong AutoCAD will also be considered
