Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role is responsible for the following:

- ** Key Responsibilities**:

- Design electrical systems for our products.
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Support R&D with ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with Test and Compliance, Mechanical Design, Automation, Electrical Operations, NPD projects, and Production teams to provide customer solutions.
- Bring strong organizational and communication skills to work alongside multiple departments.

**Qualifications** What We’re Looking For**:

- ** Experience**:

- Minimum 5 years in product development and design manufacture, preferably in the refrigeration or HVAC industry.
- Strong practical experience and command of electrical design principles and standards (AS/NZS3000, AS/NZS3008).
- Knowledge of AS/NZS60335, CISPR14.1, and IEC61000-6-8 is advantageous.
- ** Skills**:

- Proficiency in CAD, preferably AutoCAD Electrical and Inventor.
- Familiarity with DFMEA, BOM systems, and MRP.
- Ability to distill market requirements from project design briefs into clear design requirements, specifications, and plans.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- A self-starter with a can-do attitude and a hands-on problem-solving approach.
- ** Qualifications**:

- Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Industrial Design or Product Design (Masters preferred)
