We are looking for a Head of Fraud & Scams Centre of Excellence, in this newly created role you’ll lead the development and implementation of fraud strategies that protect customers and deliver exceptional experiences. This is a pivotal role driving innovation, collaboration, and strategic leadership to safeguard ASB’s market position. Lead the creation and execution of ASB’s fraud strategies to prevent fraud, manage risk, and align with strategic business goals. Drive initiatives across business units to implement effective, bank-wide fraud prevention measures. Ensure the Centre of Excellence operates efficiently, with accountability for planning, governance, communications, and education. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Strategy, Brand & Marketing, Communications, Distribution, and People & Culture teams. Provide insights through competitor and industry analysis, and foster strong external relationships to enhance fraud awareness and customer protection. A strategic mindset with the ability to inspire and motivate teams while collaborating across diverse functions. Strong analytical capability to solve complex problems and deliver practical solutions, supported by planning and performance management expertise. Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and influence decisions at all levels. Financial Crime, AML, Fraud, Sanctions, Financial services or banking experience preferred.
