Our products do not just serve ads or stream movies - they underpin our economy and touch people's lives. **About the role**: As a Database Site Reliability Engineer at ASB Bank you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our database infrastructure in Azure. This role requires strong experience with Azure Managed Instances, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB, and expertise in setting up CI/CD pipelines using Azure Bicep and Terraform. You will focus on automating the creation of databases and other resources in Azure, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment processes. **Key Responsibilities**: - Work closely with Cloud Platform on CI/CD pipeline creation and modification to ensure pipelines meet guidelines, standards, policies, and controls. - Implement and manage version control systems (GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps) and automate the deployment process to ensure that code can be quickly and reliably deployed to various environments. - Test automated processes and configurations, verifying that they are secure, reliable, and meet performance standards. - Ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing among team members to maintain best practices and promote innovation. - Stay up to date with latest trends and technology within the DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code industry, continually enhancing skills and recommending improvements to the organization's infrastructure. - Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of database services on Azure Managed Instances, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB. - Automate database provisioning, configuration, and maintenance tasks using PowerShell and other scripting languages **Required Qualifications**: - Extensive experience with Azure Managed Instances, Azure SQL, and Cosmos DB. - Strong expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure Bicep and Terraform. - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and management of Azure resources. - Solid understanding of database administration principles and best practices. - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Azure Bicep. - Familiarity with Bash scripting. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. **Working for ASB**: ASB's sense of who we are and what we stand for is grounded in our values.
